The 2010 Izod IndyCar Series season will be the 15th season of the IndyCar Series. It is the series' first of six planned seasons under Izod’s title sponsorship, a multi-million dollar deal which was announced on November 5, 2009. Its premier event will be the 94th Indianapolis 500, scheduled for Sunday, May 30. The Indy Racing League, which encompasses both the Izod IndyCar Series and the Firestone Indy Lights seeks a new Vice President of Communications, based in Indianapolis, Indiana, who will be responsible for creating and implementing an agreed upon comprehensive communications and public relations strategy for both Series.
