So . . . I am horrid about updating this. Absolutely horrid. Partly because I feel like I'm talking to thin air, and partly because I know my parents would flip. They are *so* not into the blogging idea . . . the things on the news a few weeks back about how dangerous it is for kids did not help. Regardless, I try to be pretty scarce about what actual personal information I put online, so . . . I feel okay about this. I don't think anyone is going to try to track me down, do you? Please don't. You'll be disappointed. Then again, I would have someone I could legitimately use the sharp side of my tongue against . . . (it doesn't get a whole lot of exercise). Well, I'm back in school with classes that I adore, but are very reading-intensive. And bah, I have to take midterms and finals this semester--usually my English classes skip those little pesky technicalities in favor of final papers. Life is generally well . . . I have been sucked back into the POTO world ...

You know, I thought last year--new freshman, first year away from home, courses in which I had to study for the first time in my life--was crazy. I have since learned that professors are nice to little bitty freshmen the first week; already, I have more reading assignment for Tuesday and Wednesday (thank heavens that we have Monday off) than I think I can finish in a three-day weekend! Not to mention the other things I (need . . . ) to do, such as finish editing a story I'm betaing, appeae ErikMuse with some writing, appease Dicey(OriginalCharacterMuse) with some thinking and writing, help students out in the class I'm TA-ing, watch the second disk of the first season of Buffy, and sleep. In between forcing myself to be semi-social (something I hate doing) so that my roommates don't drag me out of my room and hold me hostage, calling my friend to sympathize with her about her evil roommies (I have nice ones that want to hang out with me), possibly going home for part of ...
