-+Much needed break...
Last 2 weeks are really grueling with hectic schedule and work load. I had to work about 14 hours per day with other team members (of course, it’s not something I haven’t done before). We did reach the final stage of the project only to hear that the client has postponed the deployment for about 2 weeks and so we got our breather for another 2 weeks. Of course, the client has to pay extra now for the delay caused by him which in turn costs us resources (!).   Nothing sounds much better than couple of days off after a hectic work schedule. But I ain’t lucky with that. Since the project ain’t over, my request for 3-4 days compensatory break was turned down.   Cursing the projects and the developers in my mind, I retuned back to work. Though not in a good way, I did get the break I wanted. I had a fall on Friday morning and couldn’t move out of my bed for next 2 days.   Apart from the pain and inability to walk around freely, this forced break is damn good. Today is ...
-+Just Some Crazy Thought
Lately I've been pondering my thoughts around helping others in the field I am expertise (well, sort of... In my humble opinion, no one can claim they are expert in a certain field). I love computers and anything related to software, hardware and operating systems. I myself have 3 computers (2 desktops and one laptop) and planning to buy one by august when DELL releases it's new range of laptops with new processors.   Forgive me for my geek talks. I am geek by nature and I am lost when I talk about anything other than gadgets and technology (oh yeah, nature is another topic I can talk endlessly).   Having this many computers of which one might become disposable by august when I get myself another one gave me an wonderful idea. Definitely, I am not the only crazy in this country and so there will be definitely lots of people who are willing to give away their old computers (PIV, PIII) for free.   So, this is my idea (still in conceptual level)... Why don't I collect those ...
-+Success; As we define....

Things aren't that different lately. They basically remain the same, just a bit low profile. But we can't keep wondering or feeling let down by what happened isn't it? After all, there ain't any sure recipe of living a successful life because success itself varies from person to person depending on their goals, ambitions, view, knowledge and their geographical location. Well, yeah our geographical location plays very major role in contributing to the definition of successful life. In a country like India, and that too South India, success is defined on how much a man leave behind for the next generation to live a comfortable life. Whereas in some other geographical location, it's all about your achievements. So I guess being too much obsessed with living successful does not give us any solution; instead it adds misery and takes all the time we've got thinking about trivial things that does not make any sense. Most of the time our definition of success is based on our envy of other ...
-+Back to where it all started :(

Life has been dramatic, yet with nothing fruitful for past few months. It's wonderful returning to my favorite space after years in wilderness (other blogs, trying to do something and finally nothing works out). I hope my old buddies are still in here.   Meanwhile during years in wilderness, I managed to be in touch with my mother Gail, Tina Vander Byl and yeah, a mail to Cassie's on her birthday. I vowed to be in touch at least through e-mail, but had to settle with just an e-mail wishing on her birthday. The things I was once passionate about (blogging, e-mails, phone calls) suddenly becomes a burden.   It's funny that your thought that the way you selected to live with your life suddenly ends up nowhere, but frustration, disappointment and a feel of achieved nothing. The promising methods which you followed with a belief that it will lead you to greatness in life suddenly ends up leading no where and once again you feel like you are stranded where you have started years ...
-+Finally its winter...

Finally the signs of winter have arrived and I am so excited to visit places since it's just around 25 degrees during winter. I guess you all know that we have only two climates here in the place where I live for past 4 years. They are summer (normal day time temp will be 48 and night temp will be 43 degrees Centigrade) and Winter (Min temp will be 4 degrees; inside deserts and max will be 25s).   My ususal exploration starts on Winter beginning (next month will be the ideal winter here coz right now it's in transition phase from one climate to another). I spend most week ends visiting places and taking photographs. After being idle for about 6 months, finally my camera will have some purpose... the next whole 5 months is going to be entertaining. This time I have planned to go into desert and shoot pictures... I've bought new pair of lenses, one 300mm and another 150mm and so this time I will have even more fun.   I guess I've become more geeky thanks to my office works and ...
