بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم "هذه ليلتي" قصيدة تبعث الأمل بالحب... من إبداعات الشاعر اللبناني جورج جرداق هذه ليلتي وحلمُ حياتي ... بين ماضٍ من الزمانِ وآتِ الهوى أنتَ كُلُّه والأماني ... فاملأ الكأسَ بالغرامِ وهاتِ بعدَ حينٍ يبدلُ الحبُّ دارا ... والعصافيرُ تهجرُ الأوكارا وديارٌ كانت قديماً ديارا ... سترانا، كما نراها، قِفارا سوف تلهو بنا الحياةُ وتسخر ... فتعالَ أحبُّك الآنَ أكثر والمساءُ الذي تهادى إلينا ... ثم أضحى والحبُّ في مقلتينا لسؤالٍ عن الهوى وجوابٍ ... وحديثٍ يذوب في شفتينا قد أطال الوقوفَ حينَ دعاني ... لِيَلُم الأشواق عن أجفاني فادنُ مني وخذ إليكَ حناني ... ثم أغمض عينيكَ حتى تراني وليكن ليلُنا طويلاً طويلا ... فكثيرُ اللقاءِ كان قليلا سوف تلهو بنا الحياةُ وتسخر ... فتعالَ أحبُّك الآنَ أكثر يقال والله اعلم إن هذه القصيدة اللي غنتها السيدة ام كلثوم قد كتبها الشاعر جورج على منديل في حفلة كان حاضرها بعد أن حجرته أم كلثوم والموسيقار محمد عبدالوهاب وطلبوا منه ان يكتب لهما شيئا حتى تغنيه أم كلثـــوم

Everything has got a sense of permanence attached to it, sucks you in and feeds you until finally you're used to it. And now you're so dependent. Now you're so defensive. Now you're finding reasons why they're all wrong. So in love with all your vices. You can't change or move on. And it comes to this, such tragic endings. You shake your fist, just stop pretending. It comes to this, such tragic endings. It's hit or miss, just stop pretending now. Everyone keeps asking you "what exactly happened?" You've got all these excuses but you don't have an answer because you don't know yourself, you don't know your own weaknesses. You're always innocent because you're never honest. despite my feelings, hate is bad. i shouldn't even go so far as to call it that. its more like and intesnse disliking, combined with a little anger, some jealousy, and a pinch of worthlessness. this is getting to be not so good for me. and i know it doesn't even matter any more. i have issues.. some1 thinks i need a tissue.!!!
