I wasn't going to get into the discussion about Supreme Court nominee, Sonia Sotomayor; but, I'm getting tired of hearing what a racist the woman is. Because she once said that she felt that as a Latino woman she could make a better decision than a white man on some case she was reviewing, she shouldn't set on the Supreme Court. Well, then our founding fathers weren't fit to hold their offices or for that matter, found this great nation. Yes, our founding fathers were RACIST, SEXIST, and IN FAVOR OF THE WEALTHY CLASS TO RULE. My God, wash my mouth out with soap. How can I speak ill of the men that found this nation and gave us the freedoms that we have today. THEY DIDN'T! The founding fathers (notice no founding mothers) wanted this nation to be governed by white, wealthy, men. They didn't give females the right to vote, nor people of color. They didn't think the poor knew enough to hold office nor govern our country. They wanted only white, wealthy, men to take this country ...

Baby Justice's mother had gone to the local Albuquerque Police 2 hours before the murder and tried to turn herself in for an outstanding warrant. Our wonderful police couldn't find the warrant, so they refused to arrest her. (Another version has surfaced that the police did find the warrant but chose not to enforce it.) Nevertheless, the mother told the police that she had been thrown out of her mother's home and the "party house" and that she and her son had no place to go. The police gave her the phone number and location of a women's abuse foundation home that might be able take them in, but didn't bother to ask if she had transportation to get there. When she begged the police to help her, they told her they couldn't help every homeless person who dropped in. Just another example of our wonderful Albuquerque Police Department.

Baby Justice has found his eternal home. His mother is a Zuni Indian, she hasn't lived on the Pueblo, but the tribe has come forward to claim him. So, neighbors of the park where he was found held a candle lighting service for him today and he will be buried on the Zuni Pueblo tomorrow. I think it's a fitting ending to a sad story.

They found him buried under the swing set in the children's park. Only his foot covered in an expensive sneaker was visible. He was three years old, and someone had smothered him and buried him in the park he often played in. The police artist had drawn a picture of him and named him "Baby Justice." Every local news station placed his picture on the TV every night for a week and no one claimed him. No 3 year old boys were reported missing by grieving parents. Then police received a call from outside the local area, from a woman who claimed the boy looked like her nephew. Local authorities located the mother, a homeless 23 year old at a local "party house." You guessed it, she was on drugs. At first she denied knowing anything about the boy in the park; but, finally it came out. She didn't know who the father was, she had been thrown out of her mother's home with the child she said she had never wanted, and the "party house" had thrown her out ...

President Obama visited Rio Rancho, NM this morning. He held a town meeting at the Rio Rancho High School concerning the Credit Card bill he's trying to get through Congress. Of course, no one was told how to get tickets to the meeting, so I don't know who he gave his talk to. I had to work, so I couldn't have gone anyway. Thank goodness I left for work at 6:30 AM so I missed the traffic mess. But, at noon, I left the base to get something for lunch and ran into the police and secret service blocking my route because Obama was going to the airport. His motorcade wasn't scheduled to go through that route for another hour, but they had to clear the way. The traffic director walked over to my car and told me to turn around because they weren't allowing traffic beyond that point. "We can't park and watch the motorcade pass?" No, it won't be through for another hour, and you'd have to park about 1/2 a mile back. "You've got to be kidding, you all must think we have ...
