I really can't decide, but I think this little blog may have run its course. I am just not a great blogger. Not much goes on new in my life. We are still remodeling the kitchen although it is getting really close to being done. The end is in sight there. I am sick of writing about it and you all have to be sick of hearing about it. If anyone is interested, I do have a facebook page. Send me a message and I will privately send you the link. I am not saying I am gone forever, just until I have something significant to write about. And, truthfully, right now, I've got nothing!! I will still be cruising by and visiting the friends I have made here. You all have been great and have seen me through some pretty tough times. But for now, I am taking a break. I haven't written in a while and I figure you know that, but I just thought I'd tell you. Ya'll take care! Hugs! Bev

Yeah. I promised. So here is the rundown on our trip. We got up even before the chickens a week ago Thursday and got to the airport about 5'ish to check in for our flight to Denver. This is the first time we have flown anywhere since 9/11. Honestly. We just haven't flown since they made all the new rules. However, like the responsible people we are, we went to the TSA web page to make sure what we could and couldn't do. We must have done well because we made it through security with no problems (except hubby forgetting to empty his pockets and take off his belt - which set off the alarm as he walked through). We both packed light since we knew we could wash clothes at BIL and SIL's house if need be (which we did do). It was a good thing because with all the STUFF we bought, we needed the room on our return. Also, we did NOT check any baggage so there was no waiting for baggage on our arrival. I wasn't worried about it being lost since we were on a direct flight. But it ...

Jigetty jig! Yay! We made it home even though we flew on that turboprop. Actually, the flight home was much smoother than the flight out to Denver. We had a marvelous time. I wish that my BIL and SIL lived closer. We had a great time with them. That is truly God's country out there. I will be writing more and trying to post some pictures this weekend. I am tired right now and am heading for bed. I just wanted ya'll to know we made it home safe and sound. I'll be back soon with more.... Hugs! Bev

We fly out of here tomorrow for Denver, Colorado. I have worked my tushie off this week to prepare. We farmed out and got watchers for our dogs. My bag is all packed and I am ready to go. Can't wait to spend some family time with hubby and his brother, sister-in-law and nephews, along with their wives and kids. Fun times will be had I am sure. I am NOT taking my laptop. With all the airline regs which I understand, but they are a pain, I just don't want the aggravation. So. You all play nice while I am gone and I will let you know when I get back next week. Pray for me. I am flying those small jets. They scare the bejeebers out of me, but they had DIRECT flights!! So, off I shall go into the wild blue yonder. Ya'll take care and remember I love ya! Hugs all around! Bev

Thirteen years ago today I married my wonderful hubby!! We have had a LOT of ups and downs in our 13 years, as all marriages do. We have had lots of good times, we have had a few bad times, lots and lots of happy times, and some really sad times. But I know one thing for certain. I am a VERY blessed and lucky woman to have married such a wonderful person. And, if I had it to do all over again.....I would, in a heart beat!! Thanks B for 13 years! Sometimes you deserve a medal for putting up with me. Don't think I don't know that, and I appreciate it. Love you much! Bev
