-+Windows Live Writer...and me.
1201 days ago
Considering all the stuff I'm reading about how Windows Live Writer is supposedly our first "Killer App" I just had to go and try it out for myself. And lo and behold... it works! And I like it! You can drop pictures and links really easily. Even maps from Windows Live Local! Dig it, this is my house! This is the midddle of nowhere    In sadder news... Bruno Kirby has died at the age of 57. The star of such films as The Godfather Part II, and of course "When Harry Met Sally..." where he uttered the classic line "BABY FISHMOUTH!" will be missed.

So I'm going to try an experiment... Well It's not really an experiment, more of a taste test.   I've been in Florida for the last week or so, and for the life of me I cannot get away from mySpace. Everyone and their kid brother has one, it's almost like an alternate Web. Which doesn't bother me, other than the fact that this alternate Web is owned by Rupert "Fox News" Murdoch. Get over it.   MySpace is fucking impenetrable for me. I don't know what it is. I remember when i used to be savvy with this "computer" thing, but to try to get mySpace to do my bidding is a sloppy and time-consuming drag. They have the worst tools, terrible design, ...

So, if you know me, you know that I jumped back on the whole blogwagon about a month ago when I kept track of my first-ever trip to the Philippines in November. But now that MSN has thrown their name into the hat into the ring that is the "Blogosphere" (jesus christ how I hate that term) maybe it's time to jump back in, too. Asian.com millionaire was the blog I had back in 2000 when I worked at Epinions.com in San Francisco. It was a weird time, when money was being thrown at geeks like Alka-Seltzer to seagulls. And it was at that time I was introduced to Pyra and the lovely Blogger. Blogging opened up a lot of opportunities for me. First socially, where I met some amazing kids who filled my head with great ideas. Secondly, I got to write. Writing is an intrinsically creative thing for me, and I hadn't realized it until I had to force myself to document my year in Dot-Communism. I've missed it. It's incredibly fun. But blogging also has its yang... the ...
