Was rushing from Biz library to Science for my GEK1517 Math class. Was late for 20 minutes due to heavy traffic. Entered the class and found a very sweet melody from "Romeo & Juliet". Teacher was playing "What is a youth" on YouTube. Everyone was listening quietly and enjoyed the song. So did I. Need to mention that the same theme melody for "Romeo & Juliet" has another title and lyric, "A time for us" Today we were supposed to review for the midterm so teacher reduced workload and entertained us by playing a few pieces of movies and songs from just about Romeo & Juliet. The class was not as boring as it had been, and I was quite relaxing. Later finished the Math class, and I left the class, singing on the way to dance practice. Today was quite a productive day. Still got a belated birthday gift today. Thanks, Celine.

It was so cold this early morning and a breeze woke me up when the Sun was still under the sea. It was just like an early autumn morning in Hanoi: Very quiet, cool breezes travel into every single house through all possible ways. However, leaves don't change their dress into yellow or red-brown outfit like in Hanoi or Northern Vietnam. Singapore leaves remain stubbornly green and no gentle breeze can take them out from their homes for a date and traveling around like in Hanoi. Hanoi autumn is charming. Great delicacies are served during the season too. Missing "cốm". Want some "ốc nóng" and "chè Huế", too. I had some green tea, listening to Vivaldi "The Four Seasons" and viewing works devoted to autumn: Hanoi autumn "Days of Autumn" by Nguyen Van Duc Hanoi autumn (taken on Hoang Dieu street) "Golden Autumn" by Levitan one of the most famous (depicting Russian autumn) "Autumn day" by Levitan (Russian ...421 days ago

Having a few cool projects this sem. Some from EE2007 & 1 from CS2102. Learning how to program serial ports and send data from computer to computer. Last time I used C & C++ to write program to capture pictures from 100+ cameras via parallel ports. This time have to use Assembly language. I wish we were allowed to use C++. Anyway, can learn smt new. The most exciting project is from CS2102: Job site. I was doing design for my own job site and by chance was assigned to the group with job site project. Have successfully lobbied my group mates to vote for PHP + MySQL. I will go further with pitching Zend Framework + Smarty. Since I have worked as a developer for quite some time, I want to make my group enjoy working professionally too, with Aptana Studio, PHPEclipse, Doxygen and comply to W3C standards in web design. Although the CS2102 is not 100% CA but doing good with project will surely help comprehending and mastering SQL & PHP.
