Watching TED videos is always a great dose of inspiration. It's becoming part of my daily activities. Some of them can really touch. Tenho assistido regularmente os vídeos do TED (www.ted.com) e cada apresentação é uma injeção de conhecimento e de incentivo. Nessa apresentação vê-se como a estatística é importante e pode ser tratada de forma interessante, visual, clara e "fun". O apresentador, Hans Rosling, um pesquisador sueco, é espetacular em sua forma de apresentar, o que deixa os 20 minutos desse talk mais agradáveis ainda. Está nos meus favoritos e recomendo. Eu e o Rafa assistimos Manchester United e Manchester City neste final de semana. É o famoso derby da cidade. Foi o programa de meninos. Pegamos o avião no sábado, curtimos Manchester e no dia seguinte fomos ao jogo. Não diferente de outros derbys, as torcidas se odeiam... E cantam o jogo todo, bem alto e forrado de palavrões. Nada diferente do que é no Brasil. No entanto, foram 75,000 pessoas lotando o estádio e pagando caro. O futebol na Inglaterra é um negócio realmente milionário e dá para entender. O Man U vende em todo o mundo, especialmente na Ásia. Por isso o Park (atacante Coreano contratado). A "lojinha" (Mega Center) que tem no estádio deve ter uns 700m2 de todo material personalizado do clube que se possa imaginar. Havia mais de 30 pessoas no caixas para pagamento e filas.
