I would like to thank all the family and friends who made dad's passing less miserable. I have never heard so many people say that my dad was "one of the kindest men they ever met". It was overhelming because I knew this, and yet so many others did too! I also want to thank Becky, my love, for allowing me the time away from family to be at the funeral. She couldn't get time off - even though the kids we off school with H1N1 virus scares! I wanna thank my brother Royale for the ride to the funeral, and my Sister Crystal for the express ride home! You can always depend on family. So much has happened this year. I find the woman who is the light of my life... Dad progressively loses the battle with cancer... My sister fights her illness with grace; as usual... and that career opportunity - in fact a paying job - still eludes me. I have fixed the gutters, roof, and cleaned the house top to bottom... but that just doesn't make me feel complete. Rebecca is wonderful. Her children are challenging, but great. I look forward to mornings like I never have before! I wish everyone better economic and social situations. I've met so many new people... my brain is on hold with names. Learning Lansing hasn't been too bad... but I could really use a good reason to drive them - Like a job!! We haven't lost the house yet.
