Un poeme pour toi qui me manque tant By the edge of a wood at the foot of the hill, Is a lush green meadow where time stands still, Where friends of a man and woman do run, when their time on earth is over and done, For here between this world and the next , Is a place where each beloved creature find's rest ! On this golden land they wait and play till Rainbow Bridge they cross over one day. No more do they suffer in pain or sadness for here they are whole, their lives filled with gladness!!!! Their limbs are restored their health renewed their bodies have healed strength imbuled !!!! They run through the grass without even a care, untill one day they Stop and sniff the air !!! All ears pricked forward, eyes dart side to side, Then all of a sudden one breaks from the pack ! For just that instant their eyes have met Together again person and pet, So they run to each other these friends from long past, The time of their parting ...

Au fond d'un vieux refuge Au fond d'un vieux refuge, dans une niche en bois, Depuis deux ans, je purge d'avoir trop cru en toi. Tous les jours je t'attends, certain que tu viendras, Tous les soirs je m'endors, sans que tu ne sois là. Pourtant je suis certain, je te reconnaitrai. Viens me tendre la main, je te la lècherai. Tu te souviens très bien, quand je sautais sur toi, Que tu me caressais, que je sautais de joie. Que s'est il donc passé pour que ce 16 juin, Heureux que tu étais, je me le rappelle bien, Tu sifflais, tu chantais, en bouclant les valises, Que tu m'aies attaché, là, devant cette église. Je ne peux pas comprendre, et je ne croirai jamais Que toi, qui fus si tendre, tu sois devenu aussi mauvais, Peut-être es-tu très loin, dans un autre pays, Mais quand tu reviendras moi j'aurai trop vieilli. Ton absence me pèse, et les jours sont si longs, Mon corps s'épuise, et mon coeur se morfond, Je n'ai plus goût à rien, et je deviens si laid, Que personne ...
