So there were two historic moments this week. One that will be cherished for a long time which is Barack Obama becoming the president of US. The other one was today when Microsoft announced its first ever official layoff. Its a sad day that some people in the company will be laid off in the worst possible market conditions. My sincere best wishes to them and I pray that hopefully one day they can look back and say, "whatever happened happened for good". So whenever somebody mentions about the historic moment of Barack Obama getting elected this story of layoff will come to my mind :(.

Got the tax rebate today. Thanks Bush & IRS for giving me $1500 back! I got lucky because my wife also has a SSN number. She did not have it last year when we filed using her ITIN number. There is a rule that if one of the dependents file using ITIN number then they don't get the rebate :(. I feel sorry for those guys. Cheers!
