Hi. I’m Becky Pezely, the Program Manager for Windows Live Writer. I hope you’re all having fun with the new Windows Live beta and discovering all of the ways it is now possible to stay connected, and share, with the people you care about most. In this post I’ll explain how Writer is yet another way Windows Live can help get you on a path to sharing things – like photos and videos – in ways that are easier and better than before. Writer is a tool for publishing to blogs. For those of you who already have a blog, Writer works with almost every blog provider in the world – including Windows Live, Blogger, Wordpress, Live Journal, TypePad and many others. If you don’t have a blog Writer will help you make a blog on Windows Live. Either way, getting started is easy: When you first launch Writer, there will be a wizard that helps you set up your blog.
