Today is recognized as Native American Day here in the U.S. In 1915, the Congress of the American Indian Association approved an American Indian Day President George H. W. Bush approved a joint resolution designating November 1990 National American Indian Heritage Month . Similar resolutions were signed during the years. In June, President Barack Obama signed the Native American Heritage Day Act of 2009. H. J. Much of this is documented but not talked about in great detail. This happened up and down the coast to as far south as Florida . That is well established from all accounts. There was little ...>
