-+Windows Live Rocks
So it all started with one email telling me that I wouldn't be able to access my Hotmail account (or should I say Windows Live Hotmail) via Outlook Express - because the DAV protocol is crap (basically). To be honest, I was less than impressed. I hardly every visit my email account through IE7. I just use OE. Instead the email suggested I use something called Windows Live Mail. So I went and downloaded it - note: you can't download the installation *.exe directly you have to jump through some hoops with a installer and downloaded *.exe instead (WLinstaller.exe). Which was a pain in the ass, for some reason it would take ages to scan. I eventually got it working - Microsoft work on this little app of yours, even a geek like me had to do some major troubleshooting to get this working. So I started using WLMail Client, and to be honest I love the damn thing. It also supports newsgroups (handy if you are a Microsoft beta tester like me). My only gripe is that is seems to ...

You’ll notice lately that I having being blogging much. Apart from coming back from holiday recently (went to India), I’ve been hooked on a game called Enemy Territory: Quake Wars . Simple put this game is amazing. I’ll quick explain it. Earth is being invaded by the Strogg (baddies!) and the GDF – Global Defence Force (goodies!) have to stop them. Each team (Strogg/GDF) has a selection of characters to chose, to play as:- Aggressor/Solider Technician/Medic Constructor/Engineer Oppressor/Field Ops Infiltrator/Covert Ops The game features 12 maps – in which the attacking team has usually around 3 objectives to complete. They have to complete the first objective in order to progress to the next. Each objective requires a different class to complete it. So for example, you might need to hack the Shield Generator – for this you will need to play as Covert Ops. There are 3 types of objectives. Build/construct, destroy and hack. For which you’ll need ...

-+Windows Dreamscene Finally Arrives...
But I’m not a happy bunny. Why? Because it is pretty much the exact same build of Dreamscene that was released as a ‘preview’ a while ago. This [not so] shocking discovery was made by Rafael Rivera and Long Zheng . I’ve always been a big supporter of Microsoft, and I’ve always defended them when war breaks out in the forums across the internet. But you know what? This time I am not going to defend them. They deserve everything they get. Faces it folks, Windows Ultimate Extras is sham. Maybe Microsoft can save this disaster, by regrouping the UEs team – if you don’t already know they disbanded sometime ago. UEs since they disbanded, have been virtually nonexistent. Thank god I got my Ultimate Edition for free . Had I spent my money on Ultimate edition, I would have been fuming right now!
-+The Ultimate Steal?

In short yes, it is the ultimate steal. Possibly the steal of the century. For those of you who don’t know what I’m going on about. Microsoft is offering students (who are at university) across the world Office 2007 Ultimate Edition for a mere £39.85 ! I’ve just finished installing my copy, it’s offered as an electronic download, and the Product Key is emailed to your University email address. To be eligible you must have a university email address – you know the ones that end in .ac.uk .   To get yourself a copy, go here .   Thanks a lot for this Microsoft, this sort of makes up for the lack of Ultimate Extras    ~Singh400   PS: Office 2007 Ultimate Edition retails at around £600 . So this is well worth it.
