A number of you have posted concerns about synchronization errors you have experienced. We are rigorously investigating these errors and trying our best to get them fixed for you. We can see that there are a number of variables and no one clear solution for everyone. But we have found some things that help some people and we'd like to share those with you. Here's what we've found helpful so far: Upgrade to the latest version at http://get.live.com/betas/maildesktop_betas. About 60% of our customers reporting sync errors are still using the old Desktop version. Upgrading to the latest version solves the problem for most of our customers and may solve the problem for you. If you already have the latest version, and you are running Internet security software, you may find that a Lower security setting on your Internet security software will resolve the problem for you. (applicable to Windows users) 1. Land on the page where you are receiving the error, and press the "Print Screen" key located on the upper right hand corner of the keyboard. 2. Paste it in Paint (you can find Paint by clicking Start/All Programs/Accessories) then click "File" in the left hand corner of the page. 3. Select "Save As". 4. Enter a File name and select JPEG as file type. 5. Click "Save". 6. After that, access your Hotmail account and attach the file and send it to windowslm@msn.com. If you have already submitted a support request at http://support.live.com, please use the SR number assigned to your request for tracking purposes.
