Honestly, being gay is nothing to be ashamed of. At the depth of it all God loves everyone no matter how evil you are. If you are a good person at heart, it doesn't matter if you're gay, straight or bisexual. That has nothing to do with who you are as a person. You aren't more likely to commit violence because you're straight or gay. It's not like being straight causes people to do drugs and I know for a fact being gay doesn't make people abuse animals.
