World Of Warcraft is off, for nao. Today is Tuesday and the servers are being repaired after a week of hard gaming. the servers need repairs every week because of the sheer number of player accounts logging in all the time. Blizzard are boasting 9 million active player accounts, and mine is one of them! They are making enough money to get William Shatner, Mr. T, Vern Troyer, & Ozzy Ozborne in their TV commercials! Just how much bandwidth does this take up? I dunno, someone call a web analyst and a mathematician. However, I can tell you that during most of the week, a large percentage of the world's web traffic are in the Blizzard servers. I'll wager that youtube and 4chan's traffic spike on Tuesdays.

Human civilization could be changing the course of Evolution. Technological advances are adding new selective pressures and neutralizing old ones. Because of advances in medicine, people with asthma can live with and pass on the gene to future generations. Thus what used to be a disability that would kill someone and eliminate the gene in the 13th century is now neutral. With planes in the air more now than ever before, birds with favorable genes are randomly killed in flight. These new selective pressures allow asthma to spread, aided with advances in medicine, but we can eliminate this problem with stem cell research.

when will ID just DIE? Whilst perusing last weeks Houma, LA, newspaper, the "Daily Comet", I noticed a couple articles of some interest. On page 9A (the opinion and letters page) at the bottom, there is one article which attempts to assert that evolution is some evil anti-god theory that Hitler used to justify the Holocaust. this article was about Ben Stien movie :Expelled. Aparrently Stein wanted to call the movie "from Darwin to Hitler". the article is so disgusting that I cannot, for the sake of my sanity, re-type it here. But what I can say is that the Author, John Aman, claims that all violence and death is the fault of Evolutionary theory, and completely ignores all the voilence, death, bigotry, and televangelism that religious dogma has wreaked upon humanity. He is also blissfully ignorant of a fact of the Theory of Evolution that the other article, a letter on the same page that Gavin Coldwell of Baton Rouge sent in, makes clear. following is his ...
