看过The apprentice的人多多少少对Trump还是有些好奇。上周Trump在Metro上做了很大的广告，说他会在Edmonton办几场免费的讲座，教那些希望成功，希望在real estate方面有所成就的人怎么买卖。而我们也因好奇而至-个人以为能看到Trump。令人失望的是，这场讲座并没有十分热烈，当然Trump也没有出现，更重要的是，讲座本身就像是一个大型的广告，告诉参与的人如果你真正想成功的话，可以参加下个月的培训-当然不会是免费的，只是有些discount。讲座持续大概5个小时，其中也传达了一些致富的思想，比如：think like you're wealthy, pull the trigger, always get on the right side of the equision(not sure the word, means always find out the good aspects), 但个人感觉实质有用的东西并不多-当然我对real estate并不是很感兴趣，所以有点小小的失望。不过倒是借这个机会出去看看，很舒服。 近来天气都不错，很适合晒太阳，心情蛮不错的，虽然事儿很多。。。

Last week was a busy week. We went out almost every night to join in the Toastmaster, a kind of club helping members to improve the skills for public speaking. To be honest, they do surprise me by their highly-organized structure. Normally it will last for 1.5 to 2 hours and the schedule is well-prepared, including “Word of the day”, “Toast”, speeches given by members, evaluation - which is a very good part giving the lecturers ideas about how to improve, and the most interesting and challenging part - Table topic - you’ll be given a specific situation and required to response to it. That’s really fun. I don’t know whether it’s useful or helpful, but everyclub member said they learn a lot from it. Every year there will be an international speech contest held by the entire toastmaster clubs around the world. Members having given more than 6 speeches are eligible for the contest. 似乎又很久没有更新了，时间真的过得好快。 前段时间气温有所回升，最近又降温了，上周经历了一次所谓的"storm”， 雪倒不是很大，但是风吹得很列，第二天早上起来就发现我们的门口被封住了，因为风把路两边的雪位移到了路上，那样子颇有点沙漠里的沙丘的感觉。后来就下了几次雪，个人觉得，二月以来的雪比刚到的时候下的雪要漂亮，更有飘雪的感觉，簌簌的，湿湿的或轻轻的都很舒服。 经过一周的奔波，终于买到了自行车，准备作为我们新的交通工具。但是由于在这里自行车更多的被当作是一项运动，所以很难选到我所习惯的自行车款式，这令我很郁闷。连最终敲定的这一款也是男式的，唉……其实如果不考虑价钱因素的话也确实可以买到很不错的，一些好的店子，比如United cycle， 他们的service很好，会针对你的budget和需求向你推荐合适的车型和款式，我们也有先去进行一些了解，最后才去其他地方买的。 坦白说，过来之后的工作并不像想象中那么顺利，有许多需要克服的东西，culture difference 注定我们必须比别人更努力；仍然感谢R对我们的建议。我这个人比较懒，有些毛病即使自己意识到了，然而不经由别人说出来总是不肯正视，去改正…… 是时候真正的长大了，无论在谁的面前，我都不能再做一个小孩子了，因为从内心对长大的排斥让我养成了一些幼稚的习惯，而现在我必须改掉他们，让自己自然的成长，该多大就多大。 很期待天气温暖起来之后，可以到处看看走走，感受生活。 最后，祝所有的women，ladies，girls节日快乐！

听到Eric到达大洋彼岸的消息，真的挺佩服他的，也挺羡慕的。 最近一次PA成绩出来了，恭喜所有通过的朋友，也衷心祝福没过的同学下次能顺利通过。 接下来的工作很忙碌，每天的工作时间即将延长，周末也要开始加班。其实我自己真的很希望自己可以尽快的适应这边的工作，能够高效率的完成file，能够真正帮到L和R。 也是经过了谈话，才开始认真的思考在这里的生活，也才体会到在一个陌生的城市开始一切并非一件容易的事情。而在一个不同的国家，语言也是需要克服的障碍之一，英语毕竟不是我的母语，就算可以交流，在看书方面还是无法像中文一样流畅，于是很难培养出兴趣；另外，这里的人说英语的速度也比以往交流的对象说的快得多，没有人会因为你是中国人而降低语速，这又增大了交流的难度。另外，对于英语的东西记忆起来也比中文慢很多，比如数字、名字等等，而这些因为语言的造成的困难是我们必须克服的，而工作中需要了解的常识也不如想象中那么容易……总之，生活并不像想象中那么简单，if we want to survive in Canada！ 最近心情波动挺大的，想了许多以后，觉得并不是光明，充满了担心。 这两天在看《金婚》，觉得人的一生真的很不容易，而要维持两个人的婚姻更是不容易，突然之间觉得活着真的很辛苦，好累，真的好想歇一歇。如果一切可以简单点就好了……
