时隔一年之后，又到了墨尔本。这次由于是学校出钱旅行（其实是开会），觉得特别神清气爽。有了上次跟琳琳在city疯狂逛街的经历，终于分得清东西南北，每天还能很淡定的一大早出去坐车到city换tram到Melbourne Exhibition and Convention Centre. 开会反正没什么特别的，就是坐着听完全不知所云的东西，而且多数的时间，会场里面没有足够的座位，所以都是坐在最后面的地板上的……Poster Section的时间太短，而且是午饭时间，大家都光顾着吃了…… 星期六去了Great Ocean Road了，来回开了13个小时的车，我就光是坐车，屁股都坐酸了。不过开这么久的车去看几块大石头，其实也挺值得的，风景实在是很美。 星期天早上睡了个懒觉，吃了午饭，就爬到表姨家后院的枇杷树去摘枇杷了，拎着满满的一袋枇杷回到悉尼。。心满意足

前两个星期收到学校的邮件说： “Dear students, You may be aware that there will be a National Day of Action at Australian universities on Wednesday 16 September. This email is to assure you that UNSW will be operating as normal on that date and we are hopeful that most classes will go ahead. Your lecturer will advise you if he or she is unable to teach that day. ” 当时就在想，谁那么无聊要在学校里面罢工啊。 今天早上走进学校，门口站了两个人发传单，说是什么要改善教师待遇的，然后跟我说"The lectures are canceled." 我随口就回答，我是research student，没有课的。回到办公室，想起来10点还是有个课要去上的，就打算看看邮件收拾一下就出去。结果就看到老师昨天晚上给我们发的邮件。 "Apologies for the late notice, but since there is strike action tomorrow, Wednesday 16th, I think it is advisable to postpone tomorrow's lecture until Thursday. We will then have the last lecture for this week in the tute slot on Thursday.I have just left CSE and saw the strike action notices, hence the late notice.
