I am such an idiot! How come I never know (or maybe I'd heard about it but didn't pay attention?) there has ever been a Chinese awarded Nobel Prize in Literature in 2000. Gao Xingjian, (1940- ) produced his drama, novel and critics in China up until 1986 before he left for Europe. The most exciting part is he wrote in Chinese about Chinese people from a Chinese heart. Yu Dafu is right when he talked about how pathetic a nation is when it is blind and deaf about its native heroes. Lord, I must go check it out.

I was thrown into the ocean, waves rushing over me, when I logged on MSN and a single piece of offline MSN message popped out blatantly. A very dear friend just learned out her pregnancy. The moment dropped in the Pacific when she failed to reach me during my night followed by my attempts to get her before her dawn. At this time she might have passed the overwelming feeling and started planning on maternity, hohoho, the top items would be, let me guess, bomb the office, book the air tickets for grandma, paint warm the bedroom, buy mother-to-be guidebooks, fill in the top page of a brand-new pink log and name, re-name the one in Chinese, in English officially and playfully~~~ I start to love the little one for her mother, the girl I grew up with and witnessed how she'd been giving all she got, generously and wisely. The best maternity, and a fashionable one. And make sure to pass down genes of beauty.

I failed in keeping a diary, get tired with talking to myself and long for audience, even though public blog has always seem a little strange to me. One day a little fox dug a hole in the ground, deeply amazed by her own work, "I've never seen any hole more interesting than this one.", thought she. So she jumped into it. Before long she realized she had to climb out of the hole she fervently dug and voluntarily hopped into, with paws and limbs, tail and nose and teeth, all by herself. When we grow up, we start to realize we are not made a fool by others, the Fool lives in us. Happy April Fool's day for the happy, the brave, the tortured-then-relieved, the enchanted-then-disillusioned fool we hold dear in all of us.
