-+Time to pray!
I am writing this because I think it is high time for believers to stand up and pray.  I don't mean the "Now I lay me down to sleep" prayers.  I am talking about REAL prayers.  The kind that do damage to the enemy!  Not just a black eye but routing the enemy out of our family.  Satan has run over my family for too long!  I have had enough!!  I am going to stand up and fight with everything I have for my family and friends!  I am not going to take things lying down!  I am going to put on the whole armor of the Father and go to battle!!  We need to be a people of power and the only way we are going to get that power is by praying!  And praying hard and long and not giving in until we have seen the victory!!  We give up far too easily in America!  We have the fast food mentality, we want it quick!  We don't want to work for it.  Well, I am here to say that this Mamma is rolling up her sleeves and goning in for the long haul!  No more namby pamby prayers here!  It is time for ...
-+Prepare and Pray

Prepare and Pray is a Homeschool Unit study.  We are so excited about it!  It uses the Swiss Family Robisinson as a focal point and then through various books we learn what we would need to do in case we find ourselves in an emergency situation.  We are learning and will learn basic survival skills.  And above everything else if focuses on our Heavenly Father!  We are loving it!
-+Talking about Tallit and Shalom
Quote Tallit and Shalom What is a tallit? The tallit (also pronounced tallis) is a prayer shawl, the most authentic Jewish garment. It is a rectangular-shaped piece of linen or wool (and sometimes, now, polyester or silk) with special fringes called Tzitzit on each of the four corners. The purpose of the garment is to hold the Tzitzit. Most tallitot (alternative plural: talleisim) have a neckband, called an Atarah, which most often has the blessing one recites when donning the tallit, embroidered across it. Why wear a tallit? The Lord said to Moses: Speak to the Israelites and instruct them to make for themselves fringes on the corners of their garments throughout the ages; let them attach a cord of blue to the fringe at each corner. That shall be your fringe; look at it and recall all the commandments of the Lord and observe them, so that you do not follow your heart and eyes in your lustful urge. Thus you shall be reminded to observe all My ...
-+Planting the Garden
Well, we have done it!  It might not be a big thing for most but for me it is HUGE!!  We planted everything we could plant today.  I really haven't gardened much and the little that I did do was dismal at best.  We had some wonderful friends come over from Alabama (Jochanan & Lisa) (Thank you guys!!) on Sunday (1st day) and help us by roto tilling (I don't think that is spelled right but oh well) and forming raised beds.  They were a huge BLESSING!  Anyway I think this is going to be a great garden.  I am so looking forward to working in it all summer long and then getting a fall garden going!  We planted peas, snow peas, cabbage (both red and green), broccolli, cauliflower, spinach, kale, all kinds of lettuces, potatoes, carrots, beets, radishes, and some peppers from seed.  Oh, I am so excited.  Just wanted to share!  Blessings to you all!  Oh, by the way all the children helped and had a great time!  Hope to put some pictures on.
