I found this on another blog and I find some truth in it. The Gold Coast is a really eclectic and transient sort of place. Some people can be pretentious and it is hard to find truly genuine people which is a shame because it is a really beautiful place to live. Although the genuine people you do find truly make it worth living here. Quote .....first of all you have the three different types of class's of people...the first class being "first class" or how i would like to refer to them as is "pretentous bunch of fucks" but hey thats just me and each to their own.....this breed of species tends to work on a visual level...it's not that you have a b/f it's what he looks like! it's not that you have a car it's what type of car you have....it's not that you eat, party and live your life. it's where you are seen doing it! because these people work on a visual level everything seems to be peachy on the outside, because lets face it if you have money you can ...

The Gold Coast has some of the most beautiful real estate options around whether you want to live on the water, in the hills amongst the rainforest or within a freindly community it has it. Anything on the water seems to start in the millions! But they are pretty damn cool! Ah well......keep saving!

If you live on the Gold Coast you will know how upstanding our council is and for those that dont they have had a cmc inquiry into their actions and didnt recieve a real good wrap. And now they want to spend 10000 ratepayers dollars on advertising how good they are!! They really are clowns! I went to the blues on broadbeach festival on the weekend and it was pretty cool execpt for the council worker in his ute who obviously had some vendetta against people walking on his road! When we were walking to get in our car he tried to mow us down with the bull bar on his ute and then hailed out some abuse! Apparently we were not the only victims on his rampage. That must be the councils new way of managing crowds at public events. Time to say seeya to the clowns at the helm, bring on Borbridge!
