i realize i'm about 5 years behind the rest of my peers doing this, but i finally have my own domain *drumroll* ...... it is...... bethgo.com yay! i don't have a good explanation for why it took so long to do so, however the last three days of getting this all up and running has impressed upon me that self hosting your own blog/website is still not for the average joe and jane consumer. am i excited to have all sorts of flexibility and control? yes! do i look forward to munging up my blog as i learn what the hell i'm doing? of course! am i at all envious of the folks who sucked down years of html knowledge the last 10 years? *nods emphatically* i have to say it; i feel the same sense of endless possiblity that i did when i left aol in 1994 to journey forth onto the wall-less world wide web. yippee!! b. ps: this is my last official post here - so if you want to stay tuned to my further adventures please point your rss readers to: ...

there are actually quite a few films i could list here as well as that new showtime show: brotherhood , however, this past weekend i had the good fortune of seeing the two movies i'll list here right in a row - and let me tell you a good time was had by all. so when the halloween party i was supposed to attend saturday sort of fell through (and me looking all adorable in my hogwarts school uniform)... i was left with a stack of dvd's i was supposed to give someone at the fest. so upon arriving at home i noticed the top one was a movie i hadn't heard of *gasp* as if there could be such a thing. it was the boondock saints which is fast becoming a bit of a cult classic, not only because it's just a kick ass film, but because it appears there is some history as to why it has taken seven years for it to start making the rounds. you can decide which side of " developing both a cult following and enmity from film goers" you fall on. but ...
