With three shows in a two week period, mixed martial arts fans have plenty to cheer about when it comes to the upcoming action in the Octagon. First up is Saturday’s finale of ‘The Ultimate Fighter’, which is followed by the ‘Ultimate Fight Night’ and UFC 61 cards on June 28 and July 8. Remaining bouts for the latter two cards have just been announced. Added to June 28th’s ‘Ultimate Fight Night’ card at the Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada is a light heavyweight bout with TUF2 veteran Rob MacDonald facing TUF 3 cast member Kristian Rothaermel, and a middleweight matchup between Justin Levens and Jorge Santiago. Lightweight and welterweight standouts will help round out the bill on July 8th’s UFC 61 card at the Mandalay Bay Events Center, with Drew Fickett taking on Kurt Pellegrino in a 170-pound bout, and Hermes Franca battling Roger Huerta in a 155-pound scrap. ...
