Well the race is on,,, oh thats a song. I think peple may have thought I gave up. I just had dial-up for so long. Add to that 4 jobs and 3 kids. Well the oldest graduates in May, the twins start driving in May. Our anniversary is in May so I am running away! I booked us a vacation the first week of May! I am going to Key Largo! The past couple of years has been hard. I work full time for a powerline company. I work on the side doing books for 3 other companies and tax returns. The economy has been scary. But hubby is busy due to the fact that all of the other welding shops in the area closed. I know I shouldn't be happy but I am. I follow Suze Orman's advice on how to get out of debt. And then what do I do? I go out and buy a new camper. But I am looking at the big picture. I will pay for it in 6 years and it will save me that much on travel for the family. Well as you know the temps are dropping. The leaves are falling. Christmas decorations are jumping out of the box. Early too. What happend to waiting until after Thanksgiving? Not me! Do it right! I enjoy them each seperatley. I love November. Maybe because I was born that month. Or is it because gluttony is expected and appreciated. The election and the economy are the biggest worries right now. They laid of over a third of the employees here at American Woodmark. My hubby is selfemployed. So this causes a little stress. But he is doing well. I just hope it all gets a little better fast. I know I have not been here much but for those of you who have gone back to dial up you know what I am facing. Well here are some of my current thoughts. This just came to me and I thought there may be others that might want to look. Remember they are paid. Who pays them? Campaigns are funded by someone. What do they expect in return. I love the book The Appeal by John Grishom. I am just a little into politics. Well for any of my friends still out there. In the past few months I have had no time to do anything. My hubby and I both have home based businesses. He is a welder and master fabricator. I am a bookkeeper. I now have three fulltime clients. And of course tax season is coming fast. When I started this at home I worked in the den. Then I moved to the office in the shop. Then I started building my own office in the old shop building. This required a new roof. And while we are at it let's put on a big covered deck on the front of the house. So after the roof was done, and ten years worth of crap gone through, I got the BTIL to frame and wire it. We took half for the office and a small file room. And the rest for other odds and ends. I am the only one in the bunch that can even touch the insulation. So I got stuck with that task. In the meantime I had to help the Surgeon I work for close and move his office. Sorry to any of those that have wasted their precious time looking at my blog.... I have not had time to blog of course. I have totally changed my life. I now work from home. I do tax returns, bookkeeping for 2 companies, and I am still clearing the Accounts Receivable for a surgeon. I had to go get the hubby's new truck last night. And to top it all off the boys are going to CA to visit the J & L show in two weeks. That means IDs must be gotten for 14 yr olds. I promise I will get around and see you all soon.
