What kind of world do we live in when the $7/hr receptionist at the doctors office gets to determine your healthcare provider? I'm so pissed and all i can do is write this damn blog. Here's the situation. I'm new to town with three kids 11,7,and 7mo. I ask around to get references for a pediatrician. I'm referred by several people in the area to GT Pediatrics so I call to set an appointment with a particular doctor and I'm told he wasn't excepting new patients but I could get my child in to see the new doctor. Since I was running behind on having the babies immunizations done since the recent move I wanted to do it soon so i said o.k. I was not told that once I saw this doctor i would not be able to have my child seen by any other doctor in that practice.
