I had the pleasure of celebrating two special occasions this weekend, and I loved every moment! Mother's Day is celebrated every year on May 10th in Mexico and also on Sunday the 11th in the States and Germany. It was also the weekend we baptized Sofia. The celebrations began on Thursday when Carlos took me out to dinner for Mother's Day, because he would be busy working all weekend. It continued with a beautiful sunny weekend, with everyone, including strangers, wished me a happy Mother's Day. I was a little surprised every time someone approached me, because I have spent a lifetime wishing other women a happy day, and suddenly without really realizing it, I was now included in this group. I had to constantly remind myself that I, too, have now graduated into motherhood, and that this day is also meant for me!
