So I gotta loose weight!!   NO. If your here & reading this & want to be a model you already know you have a chance & you know your size. You gotta be a size Zero right?   Says who? So you want to hit the Laxatives, Speed, shove your fingers down your throat & rot your teeth huh? Fuck your life up, become Anorexic then, become that moody bitch your friends dont recognise any more. Risk being cut off by Mum & Dad. Still worth it? So go on... who said you gotta be thin??   Hey your Beautiful.. you are what you are so why let some fat bastard try & tell you otherwise! SAY IT AGAIN. "I AM BEAUTIFUL THE WAY I AM". There. Now bloody believe it!  Look at the Agent, or the Photographer.. are they Adonis? I have never seen one yet. They're probably some fat smelly balding slob with their own issues. Are you REALLY gonna let this person dictate to you? Who the fucking hell is this person anyway? If they dont like you the way ...

-+The Comp or Zed CArd

THE COMP CARD.  Any questions on the Comp card ask it in this thread please.  This is a good rough guide to give you some idea what is required. Dont be afraid to ask!   Sometimes called the Zed Card. What is it? & is it advisable to have one?   It's the 'Business Card for the model & is essential if your serious about your chosen career. It should contain some great photos of you & some basic info & stats. This is what you leave with possible clients, with photographers, you can post to people too, I say post as a lot of bookers, agents & photographers clooect these & often thumb through them, keeping you fresh in mind.If you email, your burried & forgotten very quickly.   I'm sure you all know someone that is a computer geek & can put this together for you & print them out using reasonable printers, although dont go too mad as you will soon want to change the chosen images as you 'evolve' your look & ...
-+Make fashion your career
My live.space is an extension of my website, therefore naturally Photography & Fashion based. So my blogs tend to revolve in this area. I have found my niche in the job satisfaction market & am happy doing something I love & adore-taking photos is a hobby & also a job for me. Sure I tried many things over the years but have learned if you love something, make it your career too. My other love is fashion-I adore clothes, I love shopping, I love style & trying to second guess the next season’s style & colours. Another reason I love photography, I can use that as the perfect excuse to visit the clothes show & various fashion weeks that are put on! I get asked by lots of aspiring models “How can I break into the fashion market for a career?” Firstly I try & put all prospective models off a modelling career, It’s not what it appears, it can be dark, difficult to know whom to trust, you really do need someone on the inside to help you. Unless you are ...
-+The 70's & 80's!
Pink lady This season, fashion is having a nostalgic moment for New York's late '70s/early '80s clubbing heyday, and who better to represent the craze than Debbie Harry? Ripped T-shirts with subversive slogans, perversely-matched prints, and, most markedly, over-the-knee black leather boots ( the new footwear, as seen at Louis Vuitton, Giles and Chloé for autumn/winter 2009) all played a part in the Blondie frontwoman's wardrobe. From Balmain's punk rock sequins to Marc Jacobs' acid brights, designers are going mad for the pop icon's downtown New York style.
