乔治奥威尔1948年写了不朽的《1984》，在1984年真的发生了很多有趣的事情。 这一年Mario Cuomo在DNC上做了keynote speech【全美20世纪最伟大的演讲排名第11】，这人的口音非常特别，一听之下决不能忘记，因为。。。和偶像——Al Pacino的声音一模一样，注意，是一模一样，不是几乎一模一样，而是identical。去听1984年的这个名为《A tale of two cities》的演说，再听听那部《scent of a woman》中的礼堂盲人演说，你一定认为这是同一个人干的。1996年纽约时报评论Al Pacino主演的《city hall》影片时这么说： FILM: Mayor John Pappas (played by Al Pacino ) is a dramatic, compassionate, overwrought politician who wants to be effective and talks about New York City's greatness: "It was a palace!
