-+Clubhouse Upgrade = More Blog Feeds per Person
21 days ago
We recently completed a small upgrade to the Clubhouse that now enables you to add more than one blog (up to 5) for every Windows Live ID you use within the Clubhouse.  Now you can maintain multiple blogs and multiple feeds and have all of those attached to a single profile for you.  To add a blog feed, click on Your Profile at the top of the Clubhouse site, then click on the Edit link next to About my blogs: You’ll see your profile switch into “edit mode” and a new button at the bottom to add a new blog: Note you can Deactivate current blogs here as well.  Click the Add button and then fill in the form: We hope you enjoy this new capability.  It’s especially handy if you want to move blogs from one place to another.  Just add the new blog, then deactivate the old one. - Marcus, Windows Community Manager

-+New “Entertaining” Challenge
As we enter into the final week leading up to the launch of Windows 7, I’ve been thinking about just how far PCs and Windows have come over the years.  One of the areas where we’ve seen some of the greatest leaps forward is in the area of entertainment.  Back in the 80s and 90s, who would have guessed how much of an entertainment device the PC would become? What’s your favorite entertaining thing to do you on your Windows 7 PC?  Play games?  Chat with friends and family?  Download and play music?  Record and watch TV?  Share your stories and your how-to tips to make the entertainment experience better by checking out the Clubhouse and our most recent challenge on this very subject. After all, we can all use a little more fun and a little less work, right? - Marcus, Windows Community Manager
-+Share the Windows 7 Excitement at a Meetup
50 days ago
You’ve probably heard all about the Windows 7 launch parties, and I hope many of you applied and were selected to host your very own party.  If you missed the application deadline, weren’t selected, or are just looking for another option to get some friends and family together, here is your chance.  We’ve created a special site for Windows 7 Meetups with lots of information and resources to help you bring folks together to celebrate Windows 7. I hope you’ll take some time to check out the Meetup site to plan your event, invite guests, and host a successful gathering.
-+Survey Says…
Thank you to everyone who filled out our Clubhouse survey that wrapped up last week.  I wanted to share with everyone some of the things we heard from you about the Clubhouse specifically and about our Windows Community in general.  We’ll be working on specific plans in each of these areas in the months ahead and look forward to sharing those with you as we get them developed. The majority of you visit the Clubhouse site daily or weekly Reading what other members have posted is the most popular activity, followed closely by sharing your own blog posts 89% of you interact with each other outside the Clubhouse, using things like Twitter and Windows Live Groups 81% of you said that the Clubhouse has helped you get more out of the products and services you use Two areas that topped our list of things to improve – adding more interactivity directly into the Clubhouse and/or linking off to associated sites like Microsoft Answers as well as adding a search feature to ...
