couple of portrait sketches .. first one is a monochromatic oil sketch and the other one is pastel on artagrain paper.

Another small portrait study measuring 4.75 x 6.25 done on Strathmore steel gray artagain paper I believe I found the support that I like besides the Wallis’s sanded paper. It is relatively smooth yet will take a couple layers of pastel without any problem and blends easily.
