To the future wives of my boys (not naming any names, but Liam and Maddox)....Here is my heartfelt apology. I tried. I've done the best I could. Just know that these traits started early. Really early. Like as soon as they could talk early. Oy! Here's a little advice. Subject to change of course. Liam This is the child who eats all day. Not grazes...but EATS! He wakes up and wants to know what's for breakfast. After breakfast is eaten...what's for lunch? While eating lunch...What's for supper? While eating supper...What's for snack before bed? Plus throughout the day be sure to expect many "When do we eat next?" He is a very healthy little guy. Could this be that he was finally weaned at 17 months from nursing? We need to be in in Italy. I've missed this. I've missed writing. I've missed keeping in touch with everyone. So once again I begin. We got a glimpse of Fall in N. Ga recently. It was wonderful. The cool crisp air. Pure BLISS! Maybe Fall will show up here before December! We went back to our hometown for a visit and to take the boys to the fair. They had a blast! As parents, hubby and I were shocked at how we remembered the fair as a child. Things weren't as large as we once thought, rides didn't go nearly as fast and fair food didn't taste nearly as good after your 2nd helping!! Oy! As a family we also started a new tradition. Water Balloon Fights! It was Maddox's idea. An idea that I can say we'll continue many times to come. We chose to have it while in N. GA so my brother could participate. Yes... I'm still here. The weather did cooperate for us during my grandmother's funeral. It was just a relative who didn't get that "Memo" about good behavior and making things easy for everyone! Anyway... It's all done and now with my Mom being the oldest she is in charge of getting the estate in order. So the same realtive is not being very coperative. Work is going..... I'm not miserable. I just don't fit in with most of the people I work with, except maybe a couple of people. Kind of like High School re-visited all over again. Not my favorite! This is such a different work enviorment. I've never been in a situation like this before. My "work" road trip wasn't so great. I came back with a HUGE headache and hating the fact that I had endured all that I did for the last 9 hours. Other than that life is good. Liam is truly enjoying Soccer. He's the Goalie and does an excellent job! ...

When it rains it pours....yes I mean that as a pun in regards to Hurricane/Tropical Storm Ernesto(not sure what it's being called right now??) Please Ernesto... GO AWAY!!!!! Just keep traveling out to the ocean. Normally I don't mind being under a watch for the smaller storms. But I found out last night that my Grandmother passed away last night in FL. Her wishes are to be buried in St. Petersburg, FL. About 4 hours away from where she is now. All this in the path of everything ERNESTO. Rain and more rain. Will we be able to accomplish anything for her this week?? No one can seem to answer this. And we are in the path of Ernesto here in the very tip of South GA! UUUGGHHHHH!!!!!! This is the first (possible)hurricane hubby has ever been here for. Lucky guy, eh? We'll stay as long as it stays below a Level 3. That's the cut-off for my comfort zone. Yep....that would be me! Slacking away on the whole blog thing. I'm at a loss as to what to say and write about. I vowed that if and when (which is now) I ever worked outside the home, that I would NEVER blog about work. So I'm not. BUT.... Oh the stories I could share. WOW!!! Work is good. I'm definitely getting my eyes opened a bit more each day. I've never really worked in an office setting, so that is a change of pace. School is going great for the boys. Noah seems to have a teacher that truly "gets" him and for that we are very greatful! Liam loves his class. He had his first soccer practice last night. Scouts will start soon for both of them. Maddox is the only one feeling left out. His school won't start until after Labor Day. He's really enjoying all the extra time with Hubby though. I've contemplated making a "blog move" like some others, but still haven't really decided what to do. I'm ...
