From age 19-32 I didn't really like my Birthday very much (long story). The last few years I've really enjoyed my Birthday. I have thrown myself a party at my favorite dance club with my favorite band, the Afrodisiacs (70's/disco). This year I was excited for my party and invited friends old and new. I had a new blouse that had been sitting in the closets for a few months waiting for a Dancing occasion - oh yeah, I had lost my dance groove a few months ago which is unheard of! Luckily, I got it back out of the blue a few months ago when the Happy Hour turned into late hour and the DJ came on... Anyway, a lot of people had plans and some got sick... my two gal-pals Deb and Trisha were there with me at 7:30 surrunded by 4 reserved tables and a pool table. Well, it took a little bit of finagling but I am soon to start working virtual! One day a week to begin with, then bump it up to more! The team is currently in the process of negotiating going from 2 days to 3 days a week! That is awesome! We are the only team who is really pro working virtual and we just don't get it! Other managers aren't interested or else their staff isn't interested. That is just crazy talk! I received all my hardware today and have lugged it all home for the weekend to set up it up, log in and make sure it works the way it should. I hope I can figure it all out! I'm really excited and already feel a boost in morale! Or maybe that is because it is Friday and... yup, time for Happy Hour focus now!

The New Year signifies Completion and moving forward. I started 2007 with a Boyfriend, my first after 5 years of fleeting and uncommitted pseudo relationships. This was a big deal for me and one I didn't take lightly. We had a lot of fun together, were very comfortable with each other and enjoyed a lot of the same things (like snuggling and eating snacks). Unfortunately, the relationship didn't last. The thing that is so disappointing is the wonderment of how two people can look so good together and get along so well but have completely different things going on inside them in regards to what they wanted and I ...
