-+HKSAR 10th Anniversary
1st July 2007 marks the 10th anniversary of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR). It's such a special occasion, they even have a theme song for it. It's quite a nice song. You can listen to it here. For me, it's a happy day cos I get a public holiday on Monday. No work....woo hoo..... Anyway, there was a fireworks display scheduled at night to mark the joyous occasion. And since I had nothing better to do on a Sunday evening, decided to join in the fun. And since my office was opening up their doors to let us watch the fireworks and that means avoiding the crowd I didn't mind that much going. And it was worth every minute. I mean the fireworks were not the normal ones that we usually see. It was truly amazing. They had fireworks that look like shooting stars, blooming flowers and streamers. There were even chinese writing (although I don't know what was written )and the numbers 2007 and 2008. Wow can't imagine how they do that. How do they tell the fireworks to ...

Aargh!!! Opened my blog today and noticed that it has gone horribly wrong...all the headings are in Chinese!!! Aargh!!! Which chinese monster has weaved a spell on my blog and making so weird? I DON'T UNDERSTAND CHINESE!!! HELP ME!!! Sighz....or maybe it's a sign that I need to start learning chinese since I'm now in HK. I've managed to adapt to the culture of seeing all signs in chinese....seeing chinese newspaper everywhere...browsing through chinese magazines (though I don't understand a word...juz looking at the pretty pictures) BUT I'm certainly NOT NOT READY to have my blog totally transformed with chinese characters.  Anyone knows how I can change things back to normal? HELP ME PUH-LEASE!!!

-+My New Apartment
I moved into my new apartment yesterday. So happy..... Such a beautiful place though it's still not completely furnished. Still waiting for some other furniture from IKEA which is due to arrive this Saturday. So excited. And I really really love our beautiful red sofa. It's like soooo comfy and makes the whole apartment feels so homey. Hehe....   And I also love my room. Although it's slightly small but think it's enough to put all my stuff. Funny thing bout design of rooms in HK is that they love to have window sills. I mean it's ok to have a big window sill in the living room but to have such a wide window sill in the room??? It takes like bout 1/6 of the room already. Should have just bot a mattress and put it on the window sill. Would have save some money on my bed frame.  But think that the window sill is good if you have nothing better to do and juz want to sit and daydream while observing other people in their rooms (kekeke....good for spying....will go buy a telescope if I ...
-+Hong Kong Wetland Park

I had the opportunity to visit the Hong Kong Wetland Park today. The Hong Kong Wetland Park is located at Tin Shui Wai, New Territories. It was kinda far from Hong Kong Island but the visit there was worth it. Hong Kong Island is so congested with tall buildings...it's nice to be able to see so much greenery...and with an entry fee of only HKD30...it's a great place to relax and unwind and to breathe fresh air...      The first thing we saw was Pui Pui's home...Pui Pui is actually a cute little crocodile...apparently it was found in one of the residential areas in Hong Kong so it was caught and now make its home at the Hong Kong Wetland Park...it has its own little enclosure....it must be sooo much more comfy than wandering around Hong Kong and frightening the poor Hong Kong people. But it's really a pity that people first bought Pui Pui as a pet but just chuck it away when it got bigger and wasn't so cute anymore. Talk about being irresponsible.   Anyway, we started ...
