It's been a long while since I posted and of course a lot has happened since then. Anyway, after Maynard's Market was cordoned off. I snuck in scoured the rubble/burned areas found a weird copper tube and not far from it, a code typed onto a piece of plastic. Studied up codes at the library, went to Hudson's and he helped me figure out it was one of those codes where there's a reference to a book (which he coincidentally had) and the series of digits resembled a page, a line, and a letter. Like 4-24-2 would mean the 4th page, the 24th line, and the 2nd letter from top to right. The 2nd letter would be the letter indicated in the code. I pieced it together and found out it was a location in West Santa Martina. I headed there with Holly and we staked the place. It was an abandoned factory we call the The Graybin, because the exterior looks like a gray bin and there's actually several gray bins around it's parking lot that were left after the company closed down. Anyway, we ...

So far it's been swell. I love to drop the books, and just have fun this summer. Just a few days ago, Marissa, Dot, Holly and I just went to a new waterpark in Sisquane called Kaploosh! and we had a blast of a time. There was a water balloon 'warzone' area called Balloon Fight! and I nailed Dot a lot of times, but Marissa and Holly got me back. It's a really neat area because you can actually run around without worrying about slipping and falling, because they use a special kind of AstroTurf on the ground. There's also large twisted structure you can hide in or behind. It's awesome! We also got sight of Heather in some hideous bikini that was way too small for her. We giggled, and while Heather and her posse were playing around, we discreetly aimed several balloons at HER! She never knew where it came from! It just made my day. There's a bunch of other neat things about the park too like a mega water chute, lazy river, a water jungle gym, and a wave pool and other ...

Finally! I've been counting down the days till summer time, and it's finally here. I got off school officially Monday, and I've been planning out my summer. I plan on hanging out with my friends a lot, solving mysteries, skateboarding, playing some more softball, and whatever else is going on. Just tonight, Marissa, Dot, Holly, and I stopped at the new Baskin Robbins store that opened up in town, and gave it a whirl. MMMM! I had 2 scoops: chocolate mint and strawberry on a waffle cone, Marissa had Tutti Fruitti in a waffle bowl, Holly had Mississippi Mud (Chocolate) in a waffle cone, and Dot had two scoops of Vanilla and Rocky Road on her waffle bowl. We sat at one of the tables and caught up on how things were going. Then we shopped at the mall a bit and left at closing time. That's about all that's been going on lately. Hopefully I get some new adventures!

Grams planted a new flower in one of her flower pots on the terrace. Now usually I'm not so psyched about plants but this one is kinda special. I found a seed stuck to my pant leg, and was about to just toss it in the trash, when Grams wanted to see what it was, and identified it as a marigold seed. So instead of trashing it, she just decided to plant it. At first, I was meh about it. But as it has grown, the golden petals have started to come out, and it is kinda cool. So now I go on the terrace every day (which is quite small btw) and give her a little water and some love. I started calling the marigold 'Mary'. It's kinda nice to nurture something, though it's different from taking care of Dorito. Not much else new. Can't wait for school to end.

It's practically always windy in Cali, but it's gotten even stronger. The Santa Martina Start reported that winds were like 45 mph, and you could tell when power was disrupted at school for a moment. Everyone in English class thought, "Yay! No lights, no work!" Unfortunately, the back-up generators kicked back in, and we had to go back to work. We're reading The Great Gatsby btw. I've also been preparing for the Earth Day celebration at school tomorrow. This year, we're going to have an in-school Earth Day celebration for at least an hour, during the end of the day. There's going to be sort of like a 'fair' type of thing set up, and there's going to be natural snacks and drinks, games (about the environment of course), and we're going to go around the campus picking up litter, a tree planting, and the start of a new horticultural garden. Sounds kinda fun. I love the environment, and I do think it is important to protect it as well as possible. It isn't even ...
