“This is the best time of Rotterdam”, Jaap, a Dutch friend of mine, who is working as a volunteer for the 35 th International Film Festival Rotterdam said so, with a big hang over after an all night long party in the Grand Hotel Central. I was not as lucky as him having a chance to work for the festival, but I guess like everybody living in Rotterdam, I was trying to be involved as much as possible in this big event of the city. What I did was to simply enjoy the movies! In order to economically enjoy a lot of films within twelve days, I first spent ten euros to get a tiger pass so that I could save three euros on each movie. Then I picked up twelve films, one film one day on average. 1月25号鹿特丹电影节开幕，到现在为止看了四部电影：tale of cinema (韩国)，seven invisible men (立陶宛)，ode to joy (波兰) 和 me and you and everyone we know (美国)。其中最有趣的就是me and you and everyone we know了，哈哈。。。很有点意思，看过的人就会了解我的标题了

真的很幸运1月13日那天去Lantaren听了Joey Calderazzo的爵士钢琴独奏。当时上网查的时候，是荷兰文的介绍也没仔细看，但是看到jazzpiano solo这几个字时，直觉就告诉我会不错的！ 没有朋友作陪，于是一人前往。入场时遇到MSc1带我studio的设计老师（鹿特丹就是这麽小）还有他的两个朋友，于是一人变四人。接下来的一个半小时Joey Calderazzo带给了我们一场至少对于我来说前所未有过的爵士钢琴洗礼。他用他的整个身心，用他四十年来的生活体验，用他对当晚演出环境氛围的感受来演绎每一首曲目；奇怪他怎莫会有如此巨大的能量，当他的手指在琴键上跳跃时会有如此饱满的音色爆发出来！？也非常喜欢他演出的风格，演奏时投入得手舞足蹈，整个身体从头到脚都在和钢琴发生互动；有时候快节奏的曲目结束在一个很短促的音符上，我还没回过神来，他就突然间从座凳上跳起来，对观众深深一鞠躬，抖抖嘴角性感地一笑，再用他的美国口音诙谐地拉几句家常；很随意，没有演出的痕迹；很强烈，因为他对钢琴，对曲目的理解和控制力。 演出结束，我们四人在演出厅外的酒吧喝酒聊天，大赞今晚的演奏之精彩。没过多久，Joey Calderazzo走了出来，因为听得太兴奋，我老师的一位朋友忙上前向他表示祝贺；于是话题便聊开来了，Joey Calderazzo抱怨说刚下飞机，时差还没倒过来，刚才演奏时其实感觉很难受；那位朋友的老婆有学医的背景，连忙推荐了四五种帮助倒时差的药；Joey Calderazzo一听，好像找到了救星一样，把他的助手叫过来，这样，你们四个被邀请星期天到阿姆斯特丹的Bimhuis听我的另一场演奏，当然，顺便把药带过来 第一次受演奏者亲自邀请，入场时报报名字就拿到了一张上面写有我名字的票。Bimhuis的演奏厅很漂亮，舞台背后一整面透明玻璃墙外阿姆斯特丹的夜晚静悄悄的。。。我对Udo（我的老师）说希望今晚他会弹一些和星期五不同的曲子，Udo说他恰恰希望相反，因为爵士钢琴的演奏很大程度上是现场的即兴发挥，期待同样的曲目今晚Joey会有不同的诠释。 ...1404 days ago
在 MVRDV 的半年中最刺激的部分莫过于 20 天内两次（ 2005 年 10 月 20 日和 2005 年 11 月 8 日）冲回国去给甲方做方案汇报了：出发前一两天加班不合眼，上了飞机还在做 pdf 的 presentation ，到机场转机时还在安排成都那边的打图，到达成都后刚踏进机场洗手间准备方便一下甲方的电话就已经打过来了： “ 杨小姐，到了没有啊？ ” 于是脸不洗，牙不刷，奔到朋友那儿把打好的图取到，直接冲进威斯顿会议厅，只见甲方 20 来人黑压压的一片。。。这样的经历真是难得啊，如此短时间内的时空转化不知道下次会是什麽时候会再体验到？ 去年底在专栏里写了一篇文章纪录这个生活片断，把它转贴在这里： Life on the way… Life is always on the way to somewhere, one year ago I left China to the Netherlands for studying, now I travel everyday from Delft to Rotterdam, morning and evening, the same time, train and metro, sometimes came across the same people on the way, I got on the train while he got off… It is a routine, to go and to come back… Within the past three weeks, I traveled back to China twice.
