-+MSNBC Morning Show's, Dylan Ratigan-Wins 'Brave Heart in Journalism ' Award
14 days ago
I have been listening to Dylan 'feet to the fire' Ratigan on the Morning Meeting Show this morning and he has been letting some flames fly. Mr. Ratigan is demostrating the courage it will take and giving others a platform, to say what needs to be said, in my opinion, to have economic justice in America. So in tribute to Mr. Ratigan's courage I came up with a totally fictitous literary award, the 'Brave Heart in Journalism' Award (unless it is a real one), based on Mel Gibson's character William Wallace in the movie Brave Heart.
-+C-span caller, "The only thing important to Senator Lieberman is Senator Lieberman"

Listening to c-span this morning to a call in segement and during a discussion about Sen. Lieberman not supporting the "Health Care Bill". A woman called-in and basically implied he is a media hound and loves the media attention. Imagine a politician loving the media attention and going to extremes to be a media focus. I would add, as I listened to the show a few other callers expressed the same sentiments as the woman I heard.

eff.org ,  Leaked ACTA Internet Provisions: Three Strikes and a Global DMCA: The leaks confirm everything that we feared about the secret ACTA negotiations. The Internet provisions have nothing to do with addressing counterfeit products, but are all about imposing a set of copyright industry demands on the global Internet, including obligations on ISPs to adopt Three Strikes Internet disconnection policies, and a global expansion of DMCA-style TPM laws.
