2009-10-17 12:30:54 - OOW最后的blog 好久没更新自己的状态了。。。。。 今年的Oracle Openworld比我06年来的那次好多了，也许是因为我更熟练了，看到更多的东西。OOW有很多好玩的东西： 1. salesforce找了5个mini cooper绕着moscone center会场 pic m imic ooper 2. Microsoft在oow捣乱： sql server pic 3. 不知道oracle得罪了什么组织，他们搞了一群人到oow的会场门口，身上写上" Rather dead than red" ，这个口号好像是当年反越共用的，现在因为oow全是红色，他们就拿来反对oracle了。 pic dead red 一个也门的餐厅吃饭，觉得还不错，大概人家40美刀(prix fix)： http://www.sahasf.com/ 今年的oracle party在treasure island，我奋斗的2天,在larry开完keynotes的最后的30分钟,我跑了3家Starbucks,终于抓到了Mark Townsend,拿到了最后的一张票. treasure island就是Bay里面连接SFO和aukland的bay bridge中间连的那个岛.后来party上面来的人挺多的.其实以前我从来没有听过aerosmith，后来才到网上查了一下aerosmith的资料，这帮人是hard rock里面的比较好的一个。 Pic Party

我用Google的Desktop Search用了一段时间，是按照内容索引的，但是我用两次ctrl调出查询的时候，80%多的时候，我是要按照文件名查询的。Google Desktop Search确实很烂，很烂很烂。 上次看到Corey安装在arctic的everything，才知道有这个软件，安装上，确实好使。强力推荐。链接： http://www.voidtools.com/

I hate being called at night hearing another bug exploded. Recently I have always been sleeping in phases, and I think i am going to get sick again if this extend another a week ... Suddenly recalled a word from Andrew (from Desperate Housewifes, I guess Season 5): "Full Disclosure, No liabilities". That happens when Gabby want to return the "piece of crap" car to Andrew, which he sold to Gabby for 300 Dollars. Andrew rejected by that "I told you, you are buying a piece of crap". :) Every time carla calls me up, she always start by "Why do't I know there is this problem?". Well, sometimes I do't either. Sometimes, I do. So, start from today onward, I will input everything I know into the BUGDB or onto the wiki. With everything disclosed, do't blame on me. It's because of the reality. Be it short of hands, limitted time, and all kinds... God bless me a good sleep every day...

今天上英语课的时候，一个博士美女跟我说了一个故事：她女儿的一个外教跟她聊天，她问外教对中国人有什么感觉。 外教说，中国人都很狡猾。 博士mm说：“为什么这么说呢？” 外教说“中国人在跟我说话的时候都是讲一句，然后眼睛看着我，转几圈，然后说下一句” 博士mm说：“那是因为他们没有达到用英语思考，在试图把中文翻译成英语啊。。。”。
