VP/CEO, Integrity Marketing Solutions 10 days ago
If you are using a Mac in your estate planning practice, here is a great article about how one of your colleagues integrated the software, Daylite, into her practice for client and case management: http://www.applebriefs.com/2008/01/06/review-daylite-in-an-estate-planning-practice/ Here is what the author outlined as the primary requirements for CRM in the estate planning practice: Manage contact information, including client data Manage appointments and to-do items Automatically create to-do items associated with each stage in the estate planning process Keep track of all meetings and communications with each contact Keep track of all documents associated with each contact
-+Is Estate Planning Really Dead?

I read a column today, published in the Santa Barbara Noozhawk and available online here: http://www.noozhawk.com/local_news/article/111009_mark_cornwall_what_about_retail_wealth_spent_on_estate_planning/, written by an attorney, proclaiming that "the business of estate planning as an attorney has all but fallen off the face of the Earth. Business is dead." ... I am interested in how REAL estate planning attorneys -- like you -- respond to that statement.
-+Website Design Should Be Simple, Flexible
VP/CEO, Integrity Marketing Solutions 45 days ago
The bottom line is this -- the website is now dynamic, not static. A website is NOT like a billboard -- post it once in a high-traffic area and hope the calls pour in. It's not like a Yellow Pages ad -- printed once for the entire year. Not at all. Your website should be updated, changed, tweaked, targeted. You wouldn't send the same newsletter out month after month, neither should your website be considered a once-and-done project.
-+Advanced Web Ranking an Elegant Solution to SEO Tracking
VP/CEO, Integrity Marketing Solutions 46 days ago
Our purpose in using the software is to track the search engine ranking of our clients' websites for keyword phrases. We run a baseline for each new optimization client before we begin optimizing their site. AWR also gives us a ranking report for the sites competing with our clients. This "top sites" competitive report is very valuable to us from a consulting perspective, as well as for optimization purposes. It gives us an excellent overview of the main "players" in any given market, tells us just how competitive it may or may not be to rank well in that market, and also gives us some insight into the strategies our clients' competitors are using online. Interestingly, we find many of our clients are fairly competitive, and seeing exactly which sites are ranking above theirs is a pretty strong motivator to getting the job done!
-+Another Estate Planning Website on Google Page One

I believe it has been less than a month, perhaps three weeks, since we published Jerry Reif's newly-optimized estate planning website. We had nowhere to go but "up" with his site, as it previously did not show up at all on local searches for a Saginaw Michigan Estate Planning Attorney. We checked today and Jerry's optimized site is now listed on Google's page one for the local search.
