American actress Brittany Murphy died of what appeared to be natural causes, a coroner’s official has said. She was just 32. The actress, best known for roles in Clueless, 8 Mile and Just Married, reportedly suffered a cardiac arrest in her Hollywood Hills home. She was pronounced dead at 10am US time on December 20 at Cedars-Sinai Medical Centre in LA. The star’s representative, Nicole Perna, released the following statement: "In this time of sadness, the family thanks you for your love and support. It is their wish that you respect their privacy." An official cause of death may not be determined for some time, since toxicology tests take several weeks, but "it appears to be natural", assistant coroner Ed Winter said. Peaches Geldof escaped unscathed after the car she was in crashed after spinning out of control on an LA motorway. The 20-year-old and friends were on their way to Disneyland in California and were apparently speeding, according to a post left on the star’s Twitter page moments before the accident. Peaches tweeted: “Speeding like I have never, ever witnessed before on the freeway - feel like I'm in a scary car chase video game.” Moments later, the car skidded out of control across three lanes of traffic. Although the car suffered extensive damage, none of the passengers were seriously injured. Peaches even managed to add another tweet, saying: "Just actually experienced a full on car crash with the IDGAF crew. Wow, I guess we really don't GAF.” The driver of the car claimed her foot slipped off the pedal while driving due to their urgency to get to the theme park. Just when we thought Amy Winehouse had got her life back together after her extended break in the Caribbean earlier this year, it seems she has gone back to her ex-husband Blake Fielder-Civil, much to the disapproval of her family. According to The Sun, Amy has reunited with Blake after they spent 36 hours together holed up in a flat in Sheffield. Blake, an outpatient at a nearby clinic, has not been popular with the singer’s family. Amy’s dad Mitch has not been quiet in expressing his distaste for their past union, and has blamed him for her infamous battle with drugs. The couple divorced four months ago, but Blake's mum Georgette has predicted they will re-marry: “He'll be straight back with Amy in London. It seems that Katie Price is enjoying being newly single, and is taking full advantage of it. On a night out at top London club Mahiki, it has been reported in The Sun that the glamour model and I’m A Celebrity contestant made a beeline for ex-X Factor contestant Jamie Archer, where they drank together and ‘flirted’. The rumours come less than two weeks after Katie publicly dumped her cage-fighter boyfriend Alex Reid, after she quit the I’m A Celeb jungle. It’s also slightly shocking to see rocker Jamie knocking back the booze with another woman, after he had allegedly been seeing Coco Lloyd from X Factor girl group, Kandy Rain.
