Abstract: Is it possible to recover photos from formatted memory cards?Most of the formatted memory cards can be recovered using Disk Doctors Photo Recovery software (Mac Version) & Disk Doctors Digital Media Recovery (Windows Version). However, some digital camera's purge the storage media during formatting using low level disk formatting process, thus eliminating any chance of recovery. Since, there are wide ranges of digital camera models available in the market, it is not viable for us to categorize formatting process used in each digital camera model. We suggest you to download the free demo version and check for recovery possibilities from your formatted storage device. All you have to do is connect the card to your Mac machine via a USB or FireWire card reader and scan it. If you are able to recover files and preview them, you should be able to rescue them out of the memory card.

Abstract: For manually uninstalling the software please follow the instructions. To uninstall the software you may need to terminate the application when it is in scheduling mode. Terminate the File Shredder program going in to the task manager(CTL+ALT+DEL) or from the system tray you could find file shredder running, right click on the icon and select exit option. Once you have terminated the software you could uninstall the software from add or remove programs from the control panel. Also, the software when installed adds a shared dll which provides context menu integration. At the time of uninstall the system must be restarted in order to remove this shared dll file.

Abstract: Upon getting an error saying "Crypkey driver failed or busy" when trying to run ESD licensed version of Disk Doctors, you would see the error recorded in the ddr.ckn file (this file is created inside the disk doctors program files folder). According to the .ckn file, the CrypKey License Service is either disabled or is not able to run. “INIT ERR: -24 INITIALIZATION: DRIVER FAILED OR BUSY” There are two conditions that will cause this error: 1. Abstract: The Machine code displayed has to sent along with the OrderID to support@diskdoctors.net so that "Activation Key" is generated and sent back to you. Once you receive the "Activation Key", it has to be entered in the manual activation screen to complete activation. All Manual Activation requests would require at least one business day to complete. Abstract: If you get this error at the time of activation saying "No more keys for this Serial number available", this error also gets replicated in ddr.ckn file (%drive%/Program Files/Disk Doctors Product/). This error usually occurs when you try installing software on two different machines or the disk where software was installed is crashed and you are trying another fresh installation.
