We know that we would have liked a guide when we were just starting. We did this project in a way so that students can relate to everyday situations. All young adolescents should stick to these rules to have a fun, safe, and productive year.

Featured student podcast from the 2008-2009 edition of Expressions from the Middle. "Messenger of Friendship: Miss Ibaraki" is a community service project from the 2006-07 school year. Mr. Diener (Technology Integrator) and Mrs. Ethel Stern (Social Studies Teacher) were given the opportunity to produce a 5-episode podcast series for the Milwaukee Public Museum about Miss Ibaraki, the Museum's 70-year-old Japanese Friendship Doll. Miss Ibaraki (a.k.a. Miss Tsukuba) returned to Japan in 2006-07 for a full restoration. The podcast series is a first person story of the doll's journey back to her homeland.
